Our name means happy.

Essaid comes from the Arabic as‑sa‘īd: the happy one, the fortunate, the blessed. It is our founder’s family name, and it has become our promise.

One root, three gifts.

In Arabic, words grow from roots of three letters. From the root of our name grow three words, and each of them belongs in a home.

  • A riad courtyard in the morning sun: a marble fountain, an orange tree, breakfast laid
    sa‘āda

    Happiness

Not a moment of joy, but the kind that settles in a house and stays.

  • A riad roof terrace at night under the stars, one bright star above the parapet, lanterns lit
    sa‘d

    Good fortune

The Arabs named a star after it: Sa‘d al‑Akhbiya, the good fortune of homes.

  • A carved cedar door wide open at dusk onto a golden entrance, a lantern lit on either side
    sā‘ada

    To help

Happiness and help grow from the same root. Our whole trade lives between the two.

The same salon in the morning sun, light pouring through the three arches across the travertine floor

Before it is beautiful, a home must be happy.

Luxury is in the stone, the light and the view. Happiness is in what happens there: breakfast in the first sun, voices in the courtyard, a dinner that lasts on the terrace. We look after both, and we know which one matters most.

Our story, in gold thread.

  1. A white Art Deco façade in Casablanca, an arched window with its wrought-iron balcony, the shadow of a palm

    A name and a city

It begins with a family name that means happy, and a city that faces the ocean. In Casablanca, Oumaima Essaid founded a house on one conviction: a home should be handed over the way happiness is, with care.

  2. A long table on a riad terrace after dinner, candles in brass candlesticks

    Houses that hold lives

We learned that a house is never only walls. It keeps the light of its mornings, the laughter of its dinners, the height of the children who grew up there. To sell one is to pass on a life; to find one is to begin another.

  3. Two cream armchairs facing each other around a brass tea tray, in an emerald salon

    The quiet of trust

So we learned to work quietly: to show in private, to listen more than we speak, to tell the truth about a price. In our trade, trust is the one key that opens every door.

  4. An antique globe on a carved cedar console, before an arched doorway open to the light

    From Casablanca to the world

Families travel, and we followed them: to Rabat and Tangier, then to Paris, Marbella and as far as Los Angeles. Wherever we go, the name goes with us, and with it the same promise.

Our mission: to open the right door.

For those who sell, the right buyer. For those who search, the home where they will be happy. Between the two, we listen, show in private, tell the truth about value, and stay until the keys change hands.

The sun rises over the Atlantic and lays a golden path to the pool

Our vision: to measure success in happy homes.

Not in square metres, records or volume, but in families who, years later, still love coming home. Born in Casablanca, the house carries this measure wherever it opens doors.

A word from our founder

Oumaima Essaid, founder of Essaid Estates, in a black velvet caftan embroidered with gold, by an arched window in an emerald salon

I have always believed that a house knows when it is loved. You can see it in the light that settles in a room, in a door that opens a little more easily, in a family that finally breathes out. I gave this house my name so that every home we hand over keeps that light. The rest follows: the stone, the view, the price.
